It\u2019s that time of year again and the\u00a0Richfield\u00a0Springs\u00a0Community Center\u00a0is preparing for their 10th\u00a0Annual Holiday Dinner and Auction! This event, the Center\u2019s largest fund raiser of the year, will be held on\u00a0Saturday, December 2\u00a0at the RSCC on 6 Ann Street.
\nThe evening will start at\u00a05:00 PM\u00a0with a delicious dinner prepared for you by the Center\u2019s resident chef as well as many Community Center volunteers. During dinner there is time for preview of the \u201cconventional\u201d auction.
\nNew this year in addition to the \u201cconventional\u201d auction is a Silent Auction to raise additional funding for youth programming and activities. Handwritten bids on designated sheets of paper will also start at 5:00 PM during dinner and continue throughout the evening. Winning bids for the Silent Auction will be announced at the end of the evening.
\nThe \u201cconventional\u201d auction begins at\u00a06:30 PM\u00a0with Sid Talma wielding the gavel.\u00a0 Along with all the wonderful holiday items that will be available, you will have the opportunity to vie for a few Mystery Boxes which will also be on the auction block. Tickets for the dinner\/auctions are just $8.00.
\nIn the spirit of giving, please consider donating to the Center\u2019s efforts if you enjoy making holiday crafts, pine wreaths, pottery, paintings, woodworking items, quilts and the like. All of these items make a perfect donation and would be gratefully accepted for our holiday fare.
